Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using PitchAlert (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

PitchAlert is owned and operated by «SHAHUYT IT DEVELOPMENT» LLC ("we", "us", "our"). References in these Terms to "we", "us", or "the developer of PitchAlert" mean «SHAHUYT IT DEVELOPMENT» LLC.

These Terms govern both the free and paid versions of the Extension. If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the purchase is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record (see Section 5).

2. Description of the service

PitchAlert is a Chrome browser extension that provides:

• A live countdown to the next match of your chosen national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
• The match kickoff time converted to your local timezone.
• Chrome browser reminders (24 h, 3 h, and 30 min before kickoff) and a toolbar badge.
• Pro features (when purchased): multi-team following, full-tournament dashboard, smart custom reminders, on-screen kickoff alert, where-to-watch broadcaster links, and calendar export.

The match schedule bundled in the Extension is based on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 fixture list. While we take care to keep it accurate, we cannot guarantee the schedule is always up to date in the event of FIFA rescheduling or force-majeure cancellations.

3. Licence to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Extension on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Distribute, sublicence, sell, or rent the Extension or any part of it to third parties.
• Use the Extension for any purpose that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to circumvent the licence-verification mechanism of the Pro tier.

4. Free and Pro tiers

Free tier, the core functionality described in Section 2 is available at no charge. We reserve the right to adjust which features are included in the free tier in future versions, with reasonable notice.

Pro tier, the Pro upgrade is a one-time, perpetual licence for the features described in Section 2 and on our website. "Perpetual" means you are entitled to use the Pro features in the version(s) of the Extension available at the time of purchase and any subsequent updates we release. We do not guarantee that specific Pro features will be available indefinitely if technical constraints require changes, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable functionality.

5. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

All purchases of the Pro upgrade are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), acting as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller of PitchAlert Pro on behalf of «SHAHUYT IT DEVELOPMENT» LLC. When you purchase, your legal counterparty for the transaction is Paddle, not «SHAHUYT IT DEVELOPMENT» LLC directly.

Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy apply to your purchase transaction. Paddle is responsible for collecting payment, issuing receipts, applying and remitting applicable taxes (including VAT/GST), and processing refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.

Pricing is displayed in US dollars. Paddle may present prices in your local currency; actual charges will be converted at the rate Paddle applies at the time of purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The Extension, including its code, design, icons, and all associated materials (except third-party components licenced separately), is owned by or licenced to «SHAHUYT IT DEVELOPMENT» LLC. The name "PitchAlert", its logo, and other branding are proprietary.

PitchAlert is an unofficial fan tool. "FIFA World Cup", "World Cup", national federation names, team names, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. We claim no affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from FIFA or any national football association.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and applicable law. In particular, you agree not to:

• Use the Extension to harass, harm, or defraud others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other users' accounts or data.
• Use the Extension in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair our services or infrastructure.

We reserve the right to revoke your licence if you materially breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the match schedule data will always be accurate or complete. Chrome browser updates or changes to Chrome's extension platform may affect the Extension's functionality; we will endeavour to release compatible updates but cannot guarantee timelines.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro upgrade (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you are using the free version, our total liability is zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

10. Changes to the Extension and Terms

We may update the Extension and these Terms from time to time. For material changes to these Terms, we will update the "last updated" date and, where practical, provide notice in the Chrome Web Store listing or the Extension itself. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. We may terminate or suspend your access to Pro features if you breach these Terms, subject to any refund rights you have under our Refund Policy and applicable law.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Armenia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
